🍯 A Bite of Energy, Straight from the Hive

Friends, do you ever have one of those afternoons when your energy feels like it is running on empty, but you just cannot stop the day to bake or fuss in the kitchen? That is when I reach for a little jar of O’Honey and whip up something quick, easy, and naturally sweet.

This week in our Sweet Seasons Recipe Series, we are sharing one of our family’s go-to snacks: No-Bake Honey Energy Bites. They are packed with good-for-you oats, nut butter, and of course, a drizzle of golden O’Honey to hold everything together. Think of them as tiny bites of energy from the hive, no oven required!

🐝 Why We Love These Bites

  • Quick & Easy: Mix, roll, chill. That is it!

  • Kid-Friendly: Little hands love helping shape the bites (and sneaking a taste, too).

  • Perfect Fuel: Ideal for homeschool snack breaks, lunchboxes, or when you are heading out to check the hives.

🌻 Around the Hive This Week

The O’Honey family has finished extracting honey and now we are working on bottling. We have both bottles and jugs available at our farm stand, open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., or you can arrange a time for delivery or meet up. Extraction is the hardest part of the harvest and we are glad that is behind us, but bottling can still be a sticky mess. The sweet news is that honey stores beautifully in larger buckets until we are ready to bottle more as needed.
