🍯 From Our Hive to Your Home: A Sweet Start to the O’Honey Recipe Series 🍞

Well, honey—we’ve been buzzing with excitement behind the scenes and now it’s time to spill a little sweetness your way!

We’re officially kicking off our Sweet Seasons Recipe Series, a warm and simple celebration of ways to use O’Honey in your own kitchen. Whether you're baking up muffins or just looking to drizzle something golden on your morning toast, we’ll be sharing recipes straight from our family hive to your home table.

This week, we’ve got a two-for-one treat to start things off: a handy Honey Conversion Chart for all you home bakers out there, and our go-to recipe for Honey Butter Spread—a favorite around here when the biscuits are hot and the kids are hungry!

🍰 Sweet Swaps: How to Use Honey Instead of Sugar

Did you know honey can step in for sugar in most of your favorite recipes? It's not only sweeter by volume (meaning you use less!), but it also brings added moisture, flavor, and natural goodness.

Take a peek at our printable chart below, and you’ll see just how easy it is to substitute O’Honey for white sugar:

✅ Reduce the sugar → Use less honey
✅ Adjust the liquid → Just a little less goes a long way
✅ Lower your oven temp → Because honey browns faster

Bee sure to keep an eye on your baked goods—honey adds moisture and a gorgeous golden color, but things can brown quickly if you're not watching closely!

🍞 Recipe Spotlight: O’Honey Butter Spread

🐝 Around the Hive This Week

We’re checking moisture levels in the hives this week—watching carefully to see when the next batch of honey will be ready to harvest. With warm summer days and just the right sprinkle of rain, our bees are hard at work, and the blooms are loving it too!

Until our next full harvest, we have a small batch of O’Honey available. You can find it at our farm stand, open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. right on our front porch. (Just follow the signs!)

We’re always grateful for your support of local, family-tended honey. Every jar really is made with love—and a little help from our busy bees.

Until next time,
